New Camera!

I got a new camera... I figured I was beginning to outgrow my old one and it was time to move onto something not pink!  That said, I took my new camera and took pictures of pink things...

For the love of the yard...

Love for the earth and the beauty of nature is evident all throughout this yard.  From the patio pavers weaving their way through the yard in gentle waves, to the color and creativity displayed in the expertly designed planting! Take a look, its truly an oasis!!

Spring

There is something about the bursting forth of spring that I honestly hope I never get bored of.  I am amazed by the simplicity, the urgency and of course the spectacular display of new life!

Water and the beauty that surrounds it

After living in many different locations in this massive country I call home, I found out that my heart loves the water.  I love the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore.  I love the way you can smell the ocean even before you see it.  I love the wind in my hair and the sand between my toes.  And while it makes no sense to 97% of my friends I strangely don't love being in the water.  Maybe it was something to do with my winters out East and in the Prairies, and the fact that somedays I wonder if I am still trying to warm up from them, but besides that extremely quirky little fact, I still relish my chance to be near the water every day of the year!

Architecture

Ask my mother if you don't believe me, but I have found patterns and order absolutely fascinating ever since I started ordering my toys from biggest to smallest and grouping my smarties by colour and number.  Somethings never seem to change.  I continue to find myself intrigued by architecture, design and use of colour and try to capture the images I find most interesting!
