I have started a new journey. Maybe a 'newer' journey... You see, I have always loved taking photos, and now I have finally decided to take the leap into some unkown world and see what I might be able to do with these splashes of colour that tend to decorate my house, distract my mind mid-conversation and well take up memory on my hard drive. Okay, that makes them sound more annoying than wonderful and it is really simply just wonderful that these photos are to me. Photography is an artistic escape for me. It opens my eyes to the intricate details that make up the world around me, and well, its FUN!
Recently, it enabled me to take on the challenge of capturing the incredible work of a wonderful Landscape Designer. I had the chance to take several hours to comb through the details of this yard, attempting to highlight the especially special elements of a phenomenally designed space!
I'll include a few of my favourites, and hope that these beginning photos will be the jump off mark for me as I hopefully get the chance to do this sort of thing many more times in the near future!
